Impact Assessment

In line with National Planning Policy and further reinforced in Local Policy, all planning applications must demonstrate no net loss for biodiversity, or Biodiversity Net Gain.

An Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA) is required to evidence all ecological impacts have been considered.

We undertake EcIA for a range of development types, from small projects to large residential schemes and infrastructure.

We are proficient in the use of the Defra Biodiversity Metric, a tool for quantifying and evidencing Biodiversity Net Gain for a project.
